Comments :

This tree is in good condition despite a housing subdivision encroaching it’s space, it suffered root damage when the footpath was installed however it has managed the impact and remains as being a significant part of the landscape.
The tree was one of the original plantings within the St Catherine’s Girls Orphanage that operate on site from 1928 to 1975. As part of the subdivision this tree, along with other companions was retained on site as a legacy to the property.
