This was a fine tree before the 2008 storm that damaged it, but she is still a venerable old lady rising 78 years this month, October 2012, from planting as a six year old seedling, so she is actually 84 years old from seed. The seed was collected in circa august 1915 after the battle of Lone Pine. |
